Innovating Fire Safety Solutions
To carve out a place in the market S&H identified a niche that set the company apart: the design and manufacture of high-performance, purpose-designed wildland firefighting garments. At the time, most wildland firefighters were wearing mechanic’s overalls to battle bushfires, which were inadequate for the demands of such dangerous work. Recognising the need for more specialised protection, S&H developed garments that offered enhanced safety, durability, and functionality specifically designed for bushfire conditions. This focus on innovative, specialised clothing quickly became a cornerstone of the business, establishing S&H as a trusted name in protective apparel.
