At S&H, protection has always meant more than just the garments we design and manufacture. It’s also about standing with the people and communities who wear them — especially when it comes to supporting mental health.
That’s why we are proud to collaborate with the Blue Tree Project, a movement dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging open, life-saving conversations.

Painting the Day Blue
In June 2025, S&H was the major sponsor of a Perth Football League mental health awareness round, donating playing jumpers for the Collegians Football Club’s “Painting the Day Blue” initiative. The event was a resounding success, raising more than $13,000 for the Blue Tree Project and sparking important conversations about mental health across the community.
Continuing the Commitment at AFAC
Just a few months later, we carried that commitment into AFAC 2025, Australia’s premier emergency management conference. Over the three days, visitors to our stand helped us sell 200 Comfort Koalas at $5 each, raising $1,000 in donations. In a powerful show of leadership, our Managing Director, Simon Stewart, pledged to match every dollar raised, doubling the contribution to a total of $2,000 donated directly to the Blue Tree Project.

Why It Matters
For S&H, supporting initiatives like the Blue Tree Project reflects a simple truth: protecting people extends beyond uniforms. It’s about looking after their mental health, resilience, and the strength of the communities they serve.
Pride, Passion, and Protection
Whether it’s through community sport, emergency services, or national awareness campaigns, S&H is proud to stand tall with the Blue Tree Project. Together, we’re helping to paint more trees blue — and remind everyone that it’s okay not to be okay.
We protect those who protect us — not just with world-class garments, but with pride, passion, and protection that embraces the whole person.
